After years of meticulous research in the Lugana area, we selected the LE FORNACI vineyard, located in San Martino della Battaglia, on particularly suitable soil. Of glacial origin, it is composed of stratifications of fine sediments such as clay, mostly calcareous, and silt, interspersed with micro-organic deposits and mineral salts. The vines are grown with the typical “archetto” training system, that is, the two remaining shoots after pruning are bent into an arch and tied.
