Valcalepio has a deep ruby red color and an intense, harmonious and elegant scent with flavors of ripe fruit with clear opening to secondary scents of toasted wood and cinnamon. The taste is warm, enveloping and elegant.

Grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
Vinification: Traditional drying of the grapes, fermentation at controlled temperature (26-28°C) in stainless steel tanks, maceration for 8 days with 2 punching over, malolactic fermentation, in stainless steel, aging in small barrels for about 8 months, bottling, then rest in glass for about 3-5 months.
Serving temperature: 18-20°C
Pairing: Red meats, traditional roasts and aged cheeses.
