The Chianti Superiore Collezione Oro by Piccini is made from 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot grapes. During the red winemaking process, the alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 25-30°C, with the must macerating on the skins for 8 days. The aging occurred in cement tanks for a period of 8 months.

The Chianti Superiore Collezione Oro by Piccini stands out with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it releases aromas of ripe red fruits intertwined with hints of rose and violet, along with notes of dark oriental spices. The taste is straightforward and balanced, with a vigorous yet well-integrated tannic structure. With a versatile character, it is excellent as an all-meal wine. Best enjoyed with a tasty baked pasta.
