Grown especially in the vineyards surrounding Bolzano, Lagrein is one of the leading red vines of South Tyrol. It is an autochthonous variety from which a wine of great character is obtained. The remarkable thermal variations between day and night together with the sandy and loose alluvial soils, give life to a complex wine with intense colors and characterized by typical freshness. For the Prestige Grieser Lagrein Riserva, only selected grapes from the best vineyards are used, where yields are low to maintain high quality.

Packaging: 3 bottles of 0.75 lt Variety: Lagrein Production area: alluvial, warm and sandy soils in Gries (Bolzano). Harvest: from late September to mid-October. Wine making: fermentation in wooden barrels, aging for about a year in French barriques and large barrels. Color: intense ruby red with violet reflections. Bouquet: fruity of ripe cherry, humus, cocoa and vanilla spice. Taste: intense and persistent, with elegant and soft tannins. Pairing: with red meats, game and aged cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18° C Alcohol: 14% vol.

Tipicità e carattere sono le peculiarità e il segno distintivo dei vini della Kellerei Bozen.Freschezza, aroma e gusto fruttato sono le caratteristiche particolari dei bianchi come Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Gewürztraminer, Müller Thurgau e Sylvaner. Altrettanto convincenti sono i vini rossi S. Maddalena, il Pinot Nero, il Lagrein, il Merlot e il Cabernet, che si contraddistinguono per il loro carattere nobile, la loro complessità e pienezza. L’elevato numero di vitigni e tenute consentono a questa cantina di offrire un vasto assortimento di eccellenti vini di qualità.
