Delivery and Returns

Pighin's Pinot Grigio comes from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes coming from vineyards exposed to the South-West, located on soils formed by the so-called "ponca", an alternation of marl and sandstone rich in minerals, at an altitude of between 150 and 180 meters above sea level. During the white vinification, the alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 16-20°C, and to a small extent in barriques and tonneaus, for a period of 15-20 days. The refinement took place for a few months in stainless steel in contact with the fine lees.
PINOT GRIGIO COLLIO PIGHIN: THE TASTING
Pighin's Pinot Grigio Collio stands out to the eye as having a straw yellow color with brilliant reflections. On the nose it opens with aromas of yellow pulp fruit followed by hints of acacia flowers and notes of medicinal herbs. The taste is savory and balanced, with a decided freshness. The fruity and flinty finish is persistent. At the table it pairs well with cheeses and vegetarian dishes and delicious seafood preparations.
